I am also stuck, game crashes when i try to save or i get the meassage "cant save while auto save is in progress" i have tried to get pretty far liberating towers and doing missions but still back to the same save. It also crashes when i die. The "save" function is only avalible in online mode, offline its "save and quit to desktop".
Thanks, but I know how to play the game and I'm not on extreme mode. Like I said, the issue isn't the lack of ammo or not being able to finish the mission. An issue with the "Far Cry 6" autosave function is resulting in some players getting stuck in an endless loop of death. "Far Cry 6" does not feature a manual save function, nor does it keep multiple autosaves on deck, so wherever the game has most recently decided to save is where you will load back in.

each save consists of 4 small files. 1.save. 1.save.upload. 2.save. 2.save.upload. one is an auto save the other is a user created save point, the other ones are upload files that save to the cloud ,and it will always make those .upload files even if you shut off the cloud save option in Uplay settings.
